Linton's Seafood
About This Spot
Stepping into Linton’s Seafood feels like arriving at a cherished local harbor where the rhythms of the Chesapeake Bay gently set the tone. It’s not just a place to grab a meal but a kind of gathering spot where the salty ocean breeze seems to mingle with the warmth of familiar smiles and easy conversation. Time slows here, inviting you to linger over a steaming platter of freshly steamed crabs or a carefully assembled oyster sandwich, savoring each bite while soaking in the casual, unpretentious buzz of fellow seafood lovers—locals and visitors alike.
The atmosphere carries a welcoming simplicity, with the crisp call of the bay just beyond the windows and an inviting deck where friends and families gather to share stories and laughter. There’s an honest, hardworking spirit in the air, rooted in the market’s role as both a wholesaler and purveyor of the region’s finest catches. It’s a place where food arrives fresh from the water, prepared with care, and served with genuine friendliness that makes you feel like you’re part of a small, thriving community.
Eating at Linton’s is as much about the human moments as it is about the food. Whether you're savoring the sweet, delicate meat of number one male crabs or indulging in a slice of homemade Smith Island cake, the experience is deeply tied to the local tradition and seasonality of the waters nearby. The menu offers familiar Maryland favorites, each dish crafted to highlight the natural flavors of the bay’s bounty, inviting you to slow down and enjoy the subtle, comforting flavors of a place where seafood isn’t just a meal, but a way of life.
Many who visit find themselves returning—not just for the food, but for the small touches that make Linton’s feel like a trusted stop on a coastal journey. The balance of casual dining and quality, the gentle hum of conversation paired with the clinking of Coors Lights and crab shells, creates an approachable yet memorable experience that feels uniquely Crisfield. It’s the kind of place where the pace of a busy world softens, and you slide into a relaxed, lightly salted evening that reminds you why fresh, simple seafood shared together still matters most.

ok, so this is popular with tourists, but you'll find as many locals here as well. We ordered large crabs and they were perfect. For desert we had homemade Smith Island Cake, my favorite is orange dreamsicle. Bought some fresh local tomatoes and potato salad, all delicious. This is a must stop for all kinds of seafood but especially Maryland crabs.

Stopped to have Maryland Crabs on way to Delaware. It was a Monday and most places closed. Just happened to stop at Linton’s Seafood. The crabs were cooked and seasoned perfect! We used to live in Virginia and used to picking crabs but decided these may have been the best we have ever eaten. Cant wait to order and have shipped to South Carolina. Highly recommend Lintons!

Stopped in for crab meat. Left with 1lb crab meat, soft crab sandwich and hush puppies, 2 pieces of smith island cake. Made crab cakes for dinner oh my that was good crab meat. Ate the soft crabs in the truck, they were perfect. Plump, cooked perfectly, flavor was terrific. The hush puppies were good too. The smith island cake was well smith island cake. Yum. Always get good things here! Great people too.
